I recently watched the new Star Wars Episode 9 movie, The Rise of Skywalker. The plot revolves around the fact that Emperor Palpatine is still alive who we all thought died in Episode 6. The movie also reveals the story behind Rey. It turns out that Emperor Palpatine is Rey’s grandfather. Palpatine ordered the execution of Rey’s parents and he wants her to take his place and become the Empress of the Sith. Throughout the movie, Kylo Ren was following Palpatine’s orders to find and kill Rey. Just as Kylo Ren was about to kill Rey, he saw a vision of his father, Han Solo. Kylo Ren realized that serving Palpatine was wrong, and he didn’t end up killing Rey. Kylo Ren and Rey end up joining forces and ended up killing Emperor Palpatine. Overall, this was a great movie, and I would give it 9 out of 10 stars.
